She writes the kind of love stories
your mother warned you about.
Raven Ashford writes the kind of love stories your mother warned you about. Dark romance, morally gray heroes, and heroines who don't need saving — but might enjoy the chaos of being caught.
When she's not writing, she's probably reading something she shouldn't be, drinking too much coffee, and pretending she doesn't fall for her own characters.
Her debut novel Savage Vow drops in 2026.
Because love isn't always polite. It doesn't always knock. Sometimes it breaks down the door and dares you to look away.
I write dark romance because I believe the most interesting love stories live in the shadows — in the tension between fear and desire, power and surrender, destruction and devotion. My characters aren't perfect. They're messy, complicated, and sometimes terrifying. But they love with an intensity that burns through every page.
If you've ever stayed up until 3 AM because a book had its hooks in you, if you've ever rooted for the villain, if you've ever wanted a love story with teeth — you're in the right place.
"I don't write fairy tales. I write the story that happens after the fairy tale falls apart — and something darker, more honest, rises from the ashes."
Every book I write is a promise: I will take you somewhere you've never been, make you feel things you didn't expect, and leave you wanting more. My stories are not for the faint of heart, but if you're here, I already know you're not.
Welcome to the dark side. I've been waiting for you.
For press inquiries, collaborations, or just to say hello — I'd love to hear from you.
